Suggested Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL TRANSFER

You will arrive at the Muscat International Airport. Upon your arrival you proceed straight to the immigration counter. Immigration and customs are quick and simple. Upon arrival at the General arrival lounge you will be met by your friendly and efficient Luxottica Holidays chauffeur/Guide who will assist you to the comforts of our Vehicle to proceed and reach the hotel in Muscat. Check in at the Hotel (normal check in time: 1400 Hrs).

DAY 02: HALF DAY MUSCAT CITY TOUR

Your morning sightseeing starts with a visit to the Grand Mosque (open for visitors from Saturday to Thursday (0800 – 1100 Hrs) this is the biggest mosque in Oman with beautiful art

work, chandelier and carpet in the prayer hall measuring approx 4260 square meters and now in the Guinness book of world records. (To visit the Grand Mosque, Women are supposed to cover their heads with scarf and should wear full sleeves clothes and should also cover their legs with long trousers/skirts. Men are supposed to wear long trousers too). From here proceed for a visit to Bait Al Zubair, which is a museum in a traditional Omani house giving glimpses of the life styles and traditions of ancient and modern Muscat. Drive continues to Al Alam Palace where the tour proceeds on foot, walking past the palace of Sultan Qaboos and the forts Jabali and Mirani (which can be viewed from the outside only).After a short photo stop, proceed to the hotel. Check in at the Hotel. Rest day stay at leisure.

DAY 03: MUSCAT – WADI BANI KHALID – WAHIBA - MUSCAT

Depart from your hotel by 4 x 4 vehicle to Wahiba Sands described as a perfect specimen of a sand sea is a 10,000 Sq.km. desert comprising a great variety of dune formations representing stages of its evolution over millions of years. The home of the Bedouins, the Wahiba truly impresses the first time

visitors with its shifting sand dunes and changing colours. The great desert of Oman known as “Rumlat Al Wahiba” where our expert driver will give you the thrill of driving over the undulating dunes. After enjoying the dune driving, you will bid goodbye to the inhabitants of the desert to proceed to towards Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the beautiful Wadis of Oman. You will drive through small villages and towns before arriving at Wadi Bani Khalid. This drive through the mountain offers a panoramic view of the beautiful landscape below. You will pass many pretty villages embedded in the mountains. Here the road winds down to the wadi alongside a large, shallow pool fringed with vegetation & ends at a village. We park our vehicles at this point & continue on a short trek to the deep blue pools of the wadi. If you wish you may enjoy a swim in this glorious grace of nature. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes & walking shoes for this trip.

DAY 04: DOLPHIN WATCHING + SNORKELLING

Make your dreams come true with double the pleasure of watching dolphins and Snorkeling by combining the two!!

Regular visitors are bottlenose dolphins common, dolphins, spinner dolphins, and Rissos dolphins along the coast in Oman. After seeing these beautiful cetaceans unwind by Snorkeling in the crystal waters in nearest snorkeling sight. Coral beds provide homes to an exotic variety of fish that are a pleasure to be hold. Catch the timeless magic of tropical fish in a real lice situation. After the visit return to your vehicles to drive back to the hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure to enjoy the Hotel facilities.

DAY 05: DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the Hotel. After Breakfast at 1200 hrs departure transfer from hotel to Muscat International Airport.
